Any doubt Iran is the most dangerous presence in the world? The IRAQ disaster is a huge "too bad" for the U.S. from a military standpoint: an Iraq at peace is the ideal would be staging ground for a military incursion into Iran!
How long before the world (including Russia) get sufficiently alarmed by Iran for anybody to do anything about it. Other than talk and talk and talk. What will it take?

continuing ...2. Enough instances "out there" to suggest leaving international combatants to destroy each other may be a good way to go. REGRETTABLY, the U.S. keeps hanging on to the concept of "doing the right thing." Barns likes that concept a lot .... Problems: 1. Who the hell is going to deal with hyper-whacko KJI? He is certified nuts AND his people are just too hungry to stage a revolution. 2. Are you and your lovely green country going to step up and protect Israel in massive international storm that would follow their intervention in Iran? Whilst sitting in the sun contemplating noe's navel and pontificating my but off sounds like a safe option , It's not the one I personally would take.Left to me , Iran would be told in no uncertian terms "Build your power plant , but the first sign of any sort of weapon development and you and your country cease to existnot ifs ,buts or maybes , you are dust" problem solved!!

...And then the fun really begins... or ends depending one where you happen to beat the time It'll go something like this, The US will continue making demands for Korea to cease and desist with it's nukes testing and development ,and Korea ( KJI mainly) will ignore George and his boys .
Then George will get really annoyed and make some move towards Korea , Nothing major like invasion , Something simple like park one of your carrier fleets off shore nothing too provocative , just enough to let KJI know that George is now alittle p**sed off

The homework is coming along fine with mixed results , some of the facts that are coming out are to say the least are a real eye opener. and I fear another best seller coming up in the near future . Why did I come to the US? I want to see the home of of My two favorite things in the world , Harley Davidson and Speed week on the Salt Flats Where several of my fellow Kiwi's have raced .I hitched a ride in an interstate (we call them linehaulers) rig and ended up driving half the trip and two week later started working for the guy .Yes my thoughts of George the joke are shall we say, are slightly less than complamentry, especially after seeing his atempt at dancing in South America .In my time there I meet some truly interesting folks ,,,

In the last week or so I have read a lot about the good the US have done around the world but ,And it is a big BUT , I have also read about some of the not so good things .It is also noted that over the years mistakes have been made . Now if I were as Judgmental of the US as some of my fellow croakers claim (and I'm not ) I would make a big deal of some of the really obvious cover-ups that have been tried by the US government to hide these mistakes . Really how stupid do they think you ( US public) and we (the rest of the world) are?? But we wont open that can of worms because then I would have to also include the atrocities that have accured in the name peace ...

...Yes the US is the Major aid providers in the world today ,But if you really look in to it, you start to notice that like the English before you , That aid is strategic in it's applications and in some circumstances, not at all wise .Now I don't claim to be an expert in politics ,So with that in mind ,I ask you why is the US a benevolent big brother to a selected group of countries and not others , What is the criteria for being in that group ? Human suffering ? or is it politics rearing it's ugly head? I mean why would you give weapons to rebels who want to destabilise a country and make a bad situation worse. You ever hear of the Bikini Atoll you know ,It's where your boys tested a few Nukes" trying to get more bang for your buck" .On one of those tests your govenment asked NZ to send some boys to observe .So our Govt. sent a frigate ( small warship) and believing that they would be safe (Your boys said so) they ( an uncle of mine was one of them) watch the bomb go off ! I don't hate George Bush Jr,I'm not fond of his methodology ,but hate is a bit strong. And I think you've given Saddam more credit than is deserved, I find it hard to believe that a man(Saddam) who couldn't get all the parts for his super gun in-country without getting busted , could transport and hide the so called WMDs .I also find it stange that he never actually launched them at any one !! Sure he threw a few rusty Russian Scuds at Israel and he gassed a village of Curds for trying to kill him ,But where are the stock piles of brand new weapons that are ready to be used against the rest of the world ,Wasn't that the reason for going to war in the first place ?? ....

After reading the news this morning "BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Seven U.S. soldiers and an Iraqi army interpreter were attacked while on patrol in an AL Qaeda stronghold south of Baghdad on Saturday. Five were killed and three are missing, the U.S. military said."I'm wondering WHY this area has not been levelled ! It's a known Strong hold And yet it still stands, OBLITERATE IT !! Sadly, you may be on point. Barns suggested --- partially tongue-in-cheek --- the same "scorched-earth" approach. There is a time-certain, in any process, where maintaining a poor status quo becomes untenable to the constituency. Iraq is nearing that point if not already there! The American public is always focused on finish lines, and obsessed with WINNERS and LOSERS. The average American is now seeing Iraq as a LOSER. In fact, most Americans see it as such although few have any idea on how to finish this mess.And a mess it is. Poorly thought out and even more poorly executed. I fear my friend , I must disagree on the point of repartition . With PROPER planing this method would only need to be executed once or twice to achieve the desired result , after that the threat of total destruction would be sufficient .
