Barns loves the Mexican workforce. Would prefer it to be at least cosmetically legal and at least tax revenue neutral. Has many, many ideas on immigration and even some on illegal immigration.
The time it took to write this pearl of wisdom, 18 illegal immigrants crossed our Southern border ! Breakfast, lunch and dinner out – tomorrow – is again a good idea.
Barns wants YOUR ideas on immigration policy. Nobody in government has any good and workable ones..... And, Barns is prepared to argue all sides of the issue with you. Do you have the cojones for that?
go down to your local unemployment office and look around the people in there are AMERICANS and they will do the work ! they have been doing the work for years and are being pushed aside for cheaper labor. The standard of living for laborers in this country has been declining for years thanks to the flood of cheap labor from south of the border. Students used to do LAWN MAITENENCE to help pay their bills while in school. No more . Every one who insists that Americans wont do That kind of work only has to look around and see there are many people who are willing and able to do so for a decent wage. They should not have to compete with illegals for jobs in their own land. We need to enforce our laws and quit allowing the employers change the standard of living Thanks

All you stated is true. I could not agree more. I think the real issue is the cost of labor. If we toss the illegal workers out of those low paying jobs and out of the US, the only way Americans will do that kind of labor is for much bigger wages. Much bigger. Then what happens to the economy? I am afraid it will be a big shock. Prices of food and services will skyrocket.. To some extent, I am having difficulty seeing Americans working the fields in my state or picking lettuce and orages in California. Dan: did Americans ever do that?
