WAR IS OVER! AND OVER ... AND OVER ... |
||
Nobody has a THIS IS HOW plan on ending the war in Iraq. And no candidate has yet to put forth anything worthwhile on the CERTAIN DIRE CONSEQUENCES IN IRAQ AND REGIONALLY in the wake of a hasty U.S. pullout.
What happens when any one of these bozos take office AND HAVE TO deal with this awful war?
Are you ready for the likely emboldened, regionally dominant Federal Republic Of Iran??
Anybody has any GOOD IDEAS on this? Anybody ?? Anybody ???
Barns thought he did HERE!
Lay it on us, Grizz. In all its brutal, gory and efficient glory. We won't think less of you (much ...).And maybe, just maybe, you will challenge, interest, incense, tick off, intrigue Barns sufficiently to drag you in to the alley and give you a good, old fashioned farm beating....

To the alley with you my fine fettled friend ,The only beating handed out out will be neither old fashioned nor merciful. This war has gone on long enough with no end in sight If you think I'm unpopular now ,See what people think after woulds when the dust settles!!

Your plan is a good one if you are trying not to offend to many other countries, How ever the time for being nice has long sinse past. George needs to give total control to the Pentagon and tell Congress to pull their collective heads in and worry about their own back yards The U.S.'s economy needs their attention Leave the war to those on the ground and stop playing Monday morning quarterback .Now we get down to the real work( I'm sorry but this will be a best seller) ........

1)Warn your Allies that decisive action is about to be taken (no detail given to avoid for warning the enemy) and it's probably a good idea to pull their troops way back 2) Evacuate 50% of troops (Mainly ground troops and easily portable equipment, booby trap what's left) plus local allies (2 weeks time limit, if you can't carry it ,leave it behind) ,treat any act of aggression with an overwhelming air strike ,A10 tank busters and Apache helicopters can do that, No need for ground troops to be involved .once this has been archived ,Pull back remaining troops to Israel (close enough to respond to any problems encountered ) Now the choice is yours to either nuke the place ( cost effective) or pound the crap out of the place with conventional bombs ....
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/05 at 02:58PM PT
Nukes would be my preference because there would be no need to send in a mop up squad .3) Send a message to the Middle East "You got a problem with this, You will be next!" .Well there will be a howl of protest over this brutal act I doubt any one will have the cojonies to make any serious move on the U.S. for fear of the same treatment......
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/05 at 03:07PM PT
Told you it would be brutal and sure other countries would wish hell and damnation upon your heads ,But unless you get brutal and stop playing "Mr NICE GUY" you may as well hand them the keys to the U.S. .While the U.S. (and allies) are playing by the rules your enemy is not!!!!
Have you(You BARNS) noticed the media reports from Iraq ,'terrorist bomb goes off in a market place with up to 50 killed out right and 100's wounded' will get a 30 second slot ,But a U.S./ Allied soldier screws up and look out it's a major event and blown out of all proportion .It's time to tell the media "Tell it like it is or P** OFF"
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/08 at 01:02PM PT
Been reading......... Interesting and brutal. The last post is very relevant. We continue to care about human life in general. We should, perhaps not entirely at our expense. We continue to care about world opinion of us. That we should re-think! With us or against us may be a desirable alternative.....

I'm sorry my friend but as an outsider ( non US citizen) I think the US needs to get brutal, Ask your self ,are we supporting them or carrying them ? and if the answer is carrying then tell them to start doing for yourself . There are too many people in this world ,who will sit back and watch you bail them out of a situation they created ,then tell you your doing it wrong To them I would okay ,then pack up my toys and leave , yelling a hearty "Good Luck " as I disappear over the Horizon.
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/15 at 08:32PM PT
Another Deciding factor would be history as you said "with us or against us"If they have been with you in the past then sure give them support, If they haven't backed you, then you tell them (politely) to go forth and multiply, and if that don't work be rude and tell to (forcefully)F*** off with the threat of total obliteration if they raise their heads again . I have recently adopted this attitude with some of our local BLUDGERS and believe me it works just fine.........
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/15 at 08:47PM PT
What a smorgasboard of LIMITED OPTIONS! YES! "With us or against us" does not work. The U.S. has a wealth of experience of having its hand bitten by the very same folks who it feeds! Suppose human nature (cynical) is TO BE AN INGRATE! NO! Not since Hiroshima/Nagasaki has this country had the stomach for the carrying out of UNBRIDLED ACTION IN THE NAME OF SELF-INTEREST. The mere mention of "scorched earth" creates huge shock waves in this country, the magnitude of those no politician is willing to absorb. Having said that, no politicial has even tested that as a concept! Barns put forth a rather brutal solution for ending the war in Iraq sometime ago: War is over and over and over. In retrospect, 'grizz', that might not be a bad idea. Assuming THAT WORLD gets the "10,000 eyes for 1 eye" concept.

There in lies your problem ,Tell your lily lily livered politicians to clear off and do what they do best (what ever that is)And let the military go ahead and get the job done .And while your at it let Iran have a visit from one of the B52 s because that little a**hole is your next major headache Mind you if he keeps shooting his mouth off Israel is lible to sort him for you ..
Mean while back to the subject at hand What happen if every body with e-mail sent an e-mail to their local rep (governor , congressman etc) telling them to leave it to the military .Of course This would require National co-operation .Something you guys seem alittle short on ...
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 01:11AM PT
The provocation shown by your current enemies is far worse than shown by Japan in ww2 and yet the U.S. lobed a couple of nukes at them with I might add ,the desired results .So what's the problem with the current situation because these guys are not going to stop until you give them a good reason too . and 150 kilotons is a really good reason especially if there's a promise of more to come !! Normally I'm a peace lovin' kind of guy until pushed But my brother enough is enough and it's time to play by their rules KILL EM ALL AND LET ALLHA SORT THEM OUT!!

Dear President Bush .
These are stressful time stressful Times we live in, With 911 in recent memory and Bin Laden posing a permanent threat to not only the U,S and it's allies in fact the World .
After much thought and research I feel i have come up wit a plan that will solve your problem in the Middle East once and for all .The only way you are going to end this once and for all ,is to take brutal and decisive action !!And with Osama Bin Ladin and his band of terrorist .Iran and the roving bands of rebels all out for US (and it's Allies ) blood it is time to play by there rules (and put morality on the back burner) , Because being nice is just not working .
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 05:13AM PT
,,,In fact fighting the righteous, fair way is costing you men , woman and money , lots of it.not to mention what it's impact on the US economy , Sir as I see it as an out side observer I suggest you put to congress . that they leave the war to those on the ground To make the decisions ,I also have my own well thought out plan ,They has been discussed at length by My self and fellow ex army personal to end the war once and for all ,I warn you it's brutal (and will probably have some countries protesting loudly ) but I believe effective.and it goes like this .
1
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 05:28AM PT
1)Evacuate 90% of ground troops and Allies with a past history of supporting the US with the warning that decisive action is about to be taken (no info given far fear of leaks to the enemy) Two week time limit ,no Exemptions Any thing (equipment they can't be easily remove get Booby trapped big time
A
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 05:36AM PT
A10 tank busters and Apache Helicopters with help of fighter bombers will handle that!!
2) Remove remaining ground personal to some where let Israel or some where close To react to any unforeseen problems that may arise Again 2-3 week time frame and again any thing that can't be taken is left be hind with a nasty surprise attached, once all US personal hve been move to a safe limit the choice is yours 1)Carpet bomb the whole of Iraq and obliterate the place (NOT COST )effective )
2) Nuke the place (extremely cost effective ) A couple of 50-70 kilo ton bombs Bigger if need be ort to achieve
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 06:17AM PT
send in the troops (Air force) on a search and destroy mission ( if it moves it dies) !!
Brutal yes Effective Hell Any Middle east Country that protests is told " is told, force fully You got a problem with this either pull your head in ! or your next,Time frame 3-4 Months And problem solve .
My reasoning for this brutal action ,as you are no doubt aware , That little Hitler in Iran is about to became your next MAJOR problem. And very shortly is going to need to be shown that you don't f**k with the US or you are gonig to right back where you started from with any rug head Islamo/fascist wit an ego prepared to has acrack at theUS homeland,
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 06:23AM PT
again sorry about the double posting but now Georde has the plan it will be interesting feedback if any I let you know .comments from my olg army buddiesis it'ts brutal but effective we'll see whhat the whitehouse thinks standy.......
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 09/26 at 06:33AM PT
So. I put on my seat belt, got a carbo-pack and hydrated adequately. Now to a response .... or more accurately, comments. The intervening decades between WW2 and WW3 (that would be our war against the Islamo-Fascists) have softened all Western Democracies. Never since WW2 has any military action in the world been characterized as the "moral war." It is IMPOSSIBLE to rally all of the U.S. to support any military action, anywhere. So many Americans prefer isolationism to righteous participation. Witness the Balkan war. Your "final solution" suggestion on how to end the war ... albeit militarily a likely success, even if temporary (a decade or so ...), is not something the American people can stomach. Even post 9/11. Barns suggested something a tad less drastic some months ago. Read it again here. And then come back... More next post....

Ahmadinejad's ugly head adds to the matter. He is really irrelevant. It is the Mullahs whose hate that he spewes who are the problem. Iran may be an issue better left to A WELL FUNDED, LEFT-TO-THEIR-OWN-DEVICES CIA. In Barns' mind, it is so improbable that with proper motivation, tens of millions of Iranis will not rise up against the repressive Mullahs. Lest you think Barns soft, part of the message from the CIA will HAVE TO BE: WE CAN DO THIS THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY. The easy way is YOU DO IT with our help and money (yeah ... always our money). The hard way is we let loose our military. And to add a very, very significant component, we also use our influence to motivate Israel, if they can actually be more motivated than they already are!

The CIA hmmmm,,,, Weren't they the guys who shall we say mislead George in the first place?? The easy way is going to open a door better left closed,A Scenario for you , Poor Country asks US for financial aid US says ok , Poor country says we want more , US tells them No you've got enough to survive on , Poor country gets pi##ed at US and starts a fight , US tries the EASY WAY , Poor Country walks away with billions more than it wanted ,,, Can you see where this is heading
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 10/02 at 01:17PM PT
I'm sorry my friend but bribery will only work sometimes . and usually costs a whole lot more in the long run .and while my solution is admittedly brutal .it is a quicker and cost effective method. And the next time some turban wearing Islamo fascist raises his head ,Blow it off ! before he can get a large enough following to cause a problem in the first place . Thus saving lives, time and money , Face facts ,The US is not the bottomless pit of money it used to be , you can't afford to be wasting Billions of hard earned cash ,With your own National Economy is trouble
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 10/02 at 01:37PM PT
Yup. The same CIA who KNEW the WMD were in Iraq. Of course, MI5 told the Britts that same thing, as did Surete, as did the Carbinnierri and even the all knowing U.N. Saddam did have years within his closed borders to move that stuff to Syria. As to the rest ... Appears the entire world saw that old Woody Allen movie. If you are a third world country and want it modernized (brought into the 21st century), all you have to do is pick a fight with the U.S. Then go to war and lose quickly. Then sit back and watch the guilt ridden U.S. build you a spanking brand new country! Then get pissy and bite the U.S. until they leave. As to "solutions," much of the population does not have the stomach for drastic solutions.

Hiroshima and Nagaski cured the U.S. of drastic solutions. Our idea of "SHOCK AND AWE" is rather limited. You know, Grizz, that is so incongruous to our real power. Do you know what the scariest thing is the world is? JUST 2, 2, YOUNG KIDS FROM KANSAS IN AN F-18 with the proper motivation and orders. They can change the course of the world. Imagine what an entire army can do. Banish the thought, my friend.... UNLESS it is indeed our very survival at stake. Which it may in fact be!!!!!!!!!

After spending sometime doing some behind the scene digging .and probably upsetting the other half of the Northern Hemisphere I've come to an Eye Opening conclusion .The American and English public by in large Haven't got a clue The war in IRAQ is all about in fact most of them still feel it's retribution for 9/11.And don't realise that if the allied forces do just walk away ,All hell will really break loose !! unfortunately for The U,S, and The English (seen by your enemy as the main aggressors ) If you fail to give these boys a good old fashioned A** Whooping They will just keep on coming at you ....
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 10/12 at 12:07AM PT
...And I fear it's gonna take another 9/11 to shake you guys up again .I said it to your President Now I say it to ALL AMERICANS Show them the same mercy ,they showed on Sept 11 It's time for the " Wake up call from Hell" or for ever walk in fear ! I sorry to be blunt and if this offends so be it I've got broad shoulders You spoke of two guys and an F18 So what will it take to get the rest of you motivated Because if they get their hand on a nuke you can KISS the American Dream GOODBYE and from what I've seen and read they are looking and looking hard.........
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 10/12 at 12:27AM PT
And guess who's probably going to supply the with those nukes Your friend and mine (not) Mr Alexandr Putin ,Yup ,This man wants power /oil and doesn't care how he gets it !! And if losing a few old nukes where certain turban headed sand rats can find them gets the job done so be it !! This ( in his eyes) will achieve 3 things 1 Wound America 2 Deflect attention away from him 3give him access to Middle Eastern Oil ,Not bad for a couple of rusty old nukes eh??
Grizz ( 454 posts / 14 fights ) from Alexandra, Otago (New Zealand) on 10/16 at 11:55PM PT
Hmmm. Putin likely has a very long memory for a young man.
Wonder if he remembers THE realy "play" in Vietnam.... We do whatever we can to draw the USSR and CHINA into the conflict, on opposite sides. That is a natural. Then we sit out THAT battle to pick up the spois.
So.... Do you think that Putin might push Iran forward toward Iran's likely desctruction at the hands of the U.S. and/or Israel and then pick up the geographically desirable pieces?
That would be a really sizeable chunk of oil...

True my friend And it wouldn't take much of a push ,The promise of power would be to much for our Iranian Psycho ,And to think this war started because a jumped up Hitler I wanna be ( Saddam ) invaded Iran So now my friend it's time to cut with the "play by the rules" crap Because if Putin has his way he'll have his hands on their oil and in return Iran will have Russian weapons including nuclear technology and then ,BARNS, the sticky stuff WILL hit the whirly thing and we'll all get some! Grizz wonders if your next President realises the s**t Storm they going to land in ? I reiterate from an earlier topic ( my first actually) Glad I'm a KIWI ,,,,,
