This is the second time you read on Ctoads about Anti-U.S., Anti-Semite, Anti-Israel, fringe-leftist talk show host polluting YOUR airwaves!
This time, this political misanthrope, indebted to his master, spews ugly bile on the air about the Reverend Wright's speeches.
Yesterday, on "PROGRESSIVE TALK RADIO" station K-Talk in L.A, he asserted that EVERYTHING WRIGHT SAID WAS FACTUALLY ACCURATE! Paraphrasing further, he said that the only thing Wright said that might be a slight stretch was that it was the U.S. government who invented the AIDS virus and let it loose in the black communities to commit genocide of all blacks.
Not a stretch, really, he went on. Given our history with the Tuskegee Experiment of the 1930's, it is easy to imagine that the U.S. government deliberately sought to infect the black community with AIDS.
This is one misguided man.

It All Started With...
Maybe Pastor Wright is not such a hateful person. Black preachers are taught an oratorical style known as "call and response" which reflects the cultural context of the lives of those in the pew. Barack called that "the black experience". The preacher calls out to the reality being lived and the congregation responds from the depth of their joy or sorrow. Sometimes fear, indignation or alienation can sound like hate, sometimes not.

So how do you contrast a skinhead who teaches children how to use guns, beats up on poor immigrants, is still paying off millions of dollars the courts levied against him for violation of civil rights with a minister who houses the homeless, feeds the hungry and provides education for illiterate adults? Just because he has made some statements which keep getting played over and over out of their initial context and sounded inflammatory to those who don't live the reality of that audience does not put him in the same league as a White Aryan Supremacist who has dedicated his life to violence. White rich people do run America. If you are white you don't worry about that too much. If you live on the Southside of Chicago and see the impact of being a poor black person in a white owned world, are you racist?

Well I agree Pastor Wright has provided Support for his local community ( Details are a little hard to come by ,From this side of the world ,Remember I live geometrically opposite Alaska at the bottom of the world) Through his rhetoric ,Pastor Wright lands him self in the same league as any racist anti social group ,(KKK WAR, SKIN HEADS ,BLACK PANTHERS etc) From what I've read so far ,this man's only difference to the likes of Messrs Metzler and co. is that he's coloured Yes the media Have focus on his latest rantings ,that's what they do,But I ask you what other pearls of wisdom has he come out with in the past ,remembering that he's been preaching since 1972 I have found his church website and will be giving it a good read before I carry on this fight

I ask you this ,What would happen if a white church had as it's motto Unashamedly White ,Unapologetically Christian" Christian ,All hell would break loose ! The Black people of America would be calling for blood ,even white folks would cringe at that .So how is it that the Trinity United Church of Christ can have as a motto "Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian",??? Is that not a separatist theme ?ergo Racist !

Having read through the afore mentioned web site and a few of pastor Wrights earlier ramblings I have NO problem putting the good pastor in the same league as Metzler and co. As I said be for the only difference is colour both the T.U.C.o.C and the K.K.K claim to have god on their side, Both claim to be working for their community .And while I DO NOT support ANY racial based group I do wonder ,What happened to the christian motto " All men are equal in the eyes of god"??

Sorry, did not mean to lose by default, but recently became employed and have been out of town in training. In this great melting pot society, called America, anyone seeking to not stand out and be proud of their identity, be it Black, Aussie, or Rainbow is easily labeled separatist when the separation is actually forced from the outside in. Separatist is not racist. If it were then most upper class white gated communities should be labeled racist and forced to melt down into the pot like everyone else. You wander around any city in the USA and you will find churches that are unashamedly white and consider themselves great Christians. There are far more black churches that include caucasians than white churches that include black christians. For me it is not a race issue or a church issue, it is a money issue...Green Rules!!!

Now to the business at hand,Well I agree the mighty dollar rules the world (Money takes B/S walks) What Pastor Wright preaches is a long way off th "Christian Ideal" and I'm a practicing Pagan .If you read some of his rantings and exchange the word white for black ,then if you can stomach if read some of the rantings of the white supremacist's groups (KKK,Warskins ...) the similarities are shocking ,But pastor Wright goes a step further, He also blames his own country for thing like the Aids virus and many other atrocities that have befallen black people the world over .Now I know the CIA and co do some pretty crazy stuff but isn't that a little too far fetched ??

As to those "Upper class Gated Communities" That's more Paranoia than racism and from what I've seen on tv they have a fair bit to be paranoid about ! .The good Pastor blame the white folk for so many of his black brothers being in prison , I don't see to many people white,black or elderly begging these black brothers to commit burglary ,murder ,rape etc etc ,They did the crime now they do the time ,Not according to the good Pastor ,He would like us to forgive and forget.Tell that to the 80 year old who's just been rod of her welfare cheque and see where it gets you . And NO I am not a Racist I believe all men are equal and all have the same opportunities

I really do have to check this more often...the people that have the money get away with murder (black or white) and the poor people who can't afford representation get stuck in the system doing the time even if they did not commit the crime. My brother sold drugs, got caught and did his time, 3 yrs in jail. My black friend got accused of a crime, railroaded by the police who added more crimes to "clear their blotter", could not get a decent defense attorney or bail and spent 17 years in jail. Poor people in the USA have 2 strikes against them before they drop out of the schools who are not interested in educating them and have to hustle in the streets because nobody will hire or train them. The jails are full of people who "don't fit in" and get thrown away.

Yes I half to admit cops every where are very good at loading people up ,You only have to watch shows like"COPS" "Crime stories"and "Jail" (Discovery channel )to see what goes on as far as the legal system works ,Haven't you heard the biggest gang in the world wears Blue Uniforms .As far as schools go I feel the lack of interest is on both sides. If you're not interested in learning, The Teacher will very quickly lose interest in teaching..There will always be "The Haves and The have nots" And people like Pastor Jeremiah Wright to take advantage of the situation

If it was only the racial aspect , Then most people Black and White would most likely ignore him .But this individual ( I'm being polite here) not only blames the white folk for ALL the woes that have befallen his Black brethren But has the notion that the Govt want to commit genocide on the Black people of the world.This man is Supposedly Christian and a Church leader And yet he shows about as much Christianity as the KKK and YOU are defending him ........

Why does there always have to be the haves and have nots? Don't we teach children from very little upwards that they should share? Why should we let one tiny group of extremely rich people control the money supply and our lives to boot? Do you enjoy paying an obscene amount for petrol while some make obscene profits? As for the White Man's Burden, at least on this side of the ocean, the white race was, and by extension still is, responsible for all the problems of the black race. Who else would it be? Hispanics, Asians, Aussies? I do agree with you that the Government planning a genocide campaign is a bit far-fetched (though not impossible) but turning a blind eye to exploitation, greed, corruption, prison gangs and other atrocities which chain the modern black person to an ipso facto slavery is certainly well documented.

We teach our children a lot of things ,when they are young ,weather they they use that knowledge is entirely up to the child, And this goes right through to adult hood .We ALL know it's not right to commit crime, Some of us CHOOSE that life, And don't give me the old story of "He was forced into it" .The problem ,as I see it is "The have nots" want what the "Haves" have got ,but they don't want to do the work to get it!! and that goes for Black and Whites

It's Human nature to want more, Most of us will toil away trying to achieve our goals in life, While a Minority think that they can just take what ever they like .There are plenty of Black folk who have made a good life for them selves since slavery was abolished ,because they learned their lessons in school and they got out in the world and they worked for what they now have It all comes down to ,If a child ,Black or White , goes to school and pays attention and then uses that knowledge ,He or she will advance to the go square and collect $200 ,If however said child goes to school and is a right little s**t he or she will grow up with a chip on his/her shoulder and probably end up in jail, Their decision, not yours or mine11
