WHO THE HELL CARES IF HE WAS HAVING SEX WITH A PROSTITUTE, OTHER THAN THE STUPID, RIGHTEOUS LOOKING WIFE, DUTIFULLY STANDING BY HIS SIDE THRU HIS PHONY "MEA-CULPA" ??
More importantly, the FBI stumbled on this insignificant event WHILE INVESTIGATING SPITZER FOR PUBLIC CORRUPTION AND MONEY LAUNDERING!
Just another example of an old Barns adage: THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS INVERSELY PROPORTIONATE WITH THE SIZE OF THE SYMBOLS THEY WEAR.

I personally don't think they're going to give him to big of a deal he was an official for christ sake! Plus he was a DA so it's every more embarrasing for the state of NY if they were to just let him get off!! Nevertheless though all Politicians are CROOKS; u gotta love them I guess. :) We vote them in time to time and debate on them!

Somebody smart - maybe it was you, 'Grizz' (nah ... just messing with you) wrote about the difference between a righteous politician and a fallen from grace politician is the the former has not been caught yet.
This guy was particularly nasty. He was fond of threatening people with making them "pay" for various deeds. He would often level public accusations of gross misdeeds and not follow those us with prosecutions. Where do those people go to get their reputations and dignity back?
This is one heck of a nasty piece of work.

Now he has fallen far enough to be a pariah forever. If churches should stay away from politics then if follows that politicians have no morals...they get paid for services rendered and turn around and use that money for services rendered...one big daisy chain using other peoples money to leverage personal ego gratification. You don't pay $4300 for sex, you pay for control, for discretion, for anonymity, simple taxpayers just don't understand.

this simple taxpayer thinks that as a smart politician he knew that nobody around him can be trusted. The prostitute is the most trusted person in this whole thing. I suppose she will sell him out only after the fact.
