GOV. SCHWARZENEGGER LOSES TO BRITNEY SPEARS

Yesterday, ***Barns* and *Lady Barns*** ran into Gov. Schwarzenegger and his family (including wife Maria Shriver-Kennedy!!) at ice cream store in Santa Monica, Ca. The “Governator” was accompanied by his small security detail.
Barns had the family puff-ball puppy for protection.
THERE WAS NOT ONE PAPARAZZO THERE ! Just a half dozen onlookers who were also eating ice cream.
Couple weeks ago, Barns was about to walk into his neighborhood convenience store when Britney Spears walked out of a restaurant there. A big bunch of people, screaming, shoving, trampling everything in their way trying to get a look at that "zero." About 75 "TERRORAZZI" present for that, in full primal - predatory mode. And Spears’ massive body guards and entourage. Total pandemonium.
Now: there is a statement on relevance for you.

Come on, Barns. What is so interesting about the Governor of California and his 5 star wife that would attract any popular attention. What? Just because you have the 8th largest economy in the world (or something like that) and Maria is a Kennedy? They are not likely to crash a car into a van full of nuns or have more babies out of wedlock or overdose on anything. Just effect 38Million people.

Hero worship is as old as cucumbers. That does not make it right. It is awful to see generations of our young worshiping people who add nothing of value to society and become famous more on account of doing harm to themselves than anything else. I am reminded of our own daily press and what in print sells papers and the product they advertise. Our papers don't bring good tidings.

Unfortunately, relevant news is only that which is extreme and embarrassing; it appeals to our baser nature. We love to oogle and oggle and ha-ha at the tragedy and downright stupidity of others. It makes us feel better about ourselves. Lest we forget, the Gov made news when he misbehaved with his groping hands on boobs and ass not belonging to Maria.
