OBAMA: SPEECH '101'
BARNS WANTS TO TAKE OBAMA'S SPEECH WRITER OUT TO DINNER !!
Obama delivered THE FIRST SUBSTANTIVE SPEECH OF HIS CANDIDACY TO AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).
Or was it THE MOST PANDERING SPEECH EVER GIVEN?
Obama delivered an exceptionally well written and substance filled speech to A SMALL ACTIVIST GROUP, REPRESENTING A SMALL MINORITY in the U.S.
Well done, Senator.
Now: give a shot at some substance in your speeches on everything else, before the remaining 97.8% of the population.
OPEN MEMO TO OBAMA: YOU DELIVERED A GREAT SPEECH TO A SMALL FRACTION OF ONLY 2% OF THE U.S. POPULATION. Well done.
If you count one extra breath in a wind-storm as an accomplishment.
Barns, a committed supporter of Israel, appreciated all the wonderful words.
However: Get with the program, Senator! Start something of REAL value. Here is your opportunity.

give the man a chance to prove his worth. It's amazing that in this day and age we can't remain open minded long enough to reach the election before kicking him off the ledge. He's playing the game right now and he's playing it well. Can't blame him for that. He'll have his day in court before the election, and he'll start running circles around McCain soon enough.

You want to explain that? I don't understand. You want to give him a chance to run agai9st McCain or to be President? On the job training is not a smart thing for a President. They all learn on the job. Most of them have been around for a while and understnad where everything on the map is. This guy needs help finding hte map.

what's to explain? yes, he would have to run first then be elected in order to become president. Included in that process would be explaining his positions in depth, along with McCain, who has the 'experience.' The fact is 'experience' translates to having the wisdom to ask questions and take advice from smarter people with more experience who are experts on the issues at hand. Then make decisions. Obama has that flexibility. Does McCain?

It is evident you don't like Obama as you seem to let McCain off the hook on this one. Fact is all three kissed ass and you know it. That's the looby. ANSWER IS MAKE THEM REGISTER AS LOBBYISTS FOR A FOREIGN GOVERMENT like any other group seeking to use lobbyists to register for the country they are representing. Let's be fair here at least

on 06/06 at 03:02PM PTTo your specific point, we need to be reminded of the pathetic reality that "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king."
We need to make choices among the REALLY SUB STANDARD candidates that we have.
Some slim pickings, would you agree?

Why are you focused on the Jewish cause when the whole world is looking for a change from George Bush. President Obama will surprise everybody with his intelligence and decision-making ability. He will be a very quick learner and will make sound decisions.

If the american people elect Obama as president of United States,it would be the worst catastrophy in US history. He has no experience in foreign affairs or anything else to be the most powerful man in the world He would even be worse than Jimmy Carter.

Until just now, I didn't think it was possible to have a worse president than Carter. Our only savior is that Obama may be only an angry elitist. Carter is naive and vindictive.

I am not clear why you both hate the man so much. He represents change that the voting public appears to be clamoring for. Maybe he will surprise you both.

I agree with Harvard. Which is surprising based on our other exchanges. Not to mention almost anything is preferable to a Third Bush Term.

Third Bush term???.I thought the president could only have two consecutive terms, unless by some miracle Obama is elected and gets his ass kicked out after the first term, Bush runs again. How likely is that.
