The ISRAEL and HAMAS (Palestinian) cease-fire of now 6 days is over.
Lasted as long as a "GOOD WAR." In 2003, a very angry PALESTINIAN TAXI DRIVER told Barns that THERE WILL BE NO PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST UNTIL THE LAST OF HAMAS IS ALLOWED TO EXIST. And that all that was up to what the U.S. and Europe are willing to do about Syria and Iran.
And to Israel, who needs to annihilate Hamas, wherever they are.
He did NOT address the NUCLEAR component of this issue.
He did not predict that Israel might seek to destroy Iran's military facilities. Witness the VERY LITTLE TALKED ABOUT Israeli MILITARY DRY RUN LAST WEEK: 100 jets in the air, simulating an attack on Iran. THE ENTIRE WORLD KEPT SILENT ON THAT! JUST WISHING THAT ISRAEL WOULD DO THE DIRTY WORK FOR THEM ALL!!
Perhaps we should find that driver and give him both a political pulpit to speak from AND a position of influence in the Middle East.

My money's on Israel ,I liken the Israelites to a well trained "Pit Bull" quiet and well behaved until it's time for aggression then the problem will just disappear.May be George or your next President will learn something about how to wage a war

I agree with your taxi driver. Peace in the middle east is a mirage in the desert. As long as there are Israel haters being born there, Israel will be at war. Most interesting the deafening silence about the Israeli military dry run. was that also not true when they bombed the Syrian nuclear plant a few months ago? Everybody condemns Israel for everything they do. Privately they saythanks, never to Israel though.

How do you deal with Europe, less Italy, who condemns Israel for defending itself. They don't have a choice but to be pre-emptive. Most of the world, including many in the U.S. are so anti-Israel as to be blind to their need for self-preservation. Israel will not have a choice vis-a-vis Iran and Hezbullah/Syria.
