BUSH - COSTAS INTERVIEW: BEST EVER.

Bob Costas' interview of George W. Bush at the Olympics was best ever!

Costas was good, as always. His questions were sharp and to the point as always, and relevant. Bush displayed THAT which endears him to every single person who meets the man one-on-one, and also makes him so deeply hated by his numerous dectracters. He was just "himself," for better or worse, rather than struggling to be "presidential."

Great interview. Not going to change anybody's mind about the man, his presidency or "all that in the news."

Did you see the interview? Does the President get a small "hall pass" for it?

Everybody has a "loud" opinion on the President. Do you?

P.S. That pesky little war in Iraq and Afghanistan did not come up. Perhaps it was not the right forum for it?

What Do You Think?

BUSH - COSTAS INTERVIEW: BEST EVER.

I did see the interview and found President Bush to be personable and down to earth. It was refreshing to see him as a "human being" and not as the "President" I'd like to see all the media talking heads take on his job and do it better. It turns my stomach to see the Obama ads- he's just too rehearsed and inexperienced to lead our brave wonderful country!

Honestly I would rather vote for Costas for President than have Bush, Obama or McCain in office. Yeah. Costas is a baseball guy. My bet would be safe on the brightest and world wise of the three. McCain is older than dirt and has been around all those years. Time may have passed him by. Obama is a very smart candidate. Not qualified for the office yet. Bob Costas for President!

I saw the interview and found the President Bush of yesteryear. Personable and down to earth. Yeah our image in the world has been diminished and the Democrats and liberal press has fanned that flame. If this was Obama, the interview might have left the audience with empty exhilaration.

Are you saying that Obama is a hypnotist? You don't see any reason why people are so strongly for the man? He represents change.

Man. You are on Kool-Aid. Obamamania is real. The man is phony. Change from what to what? It is wonderful to wish for change if you know what and how. Enjoy your changing taxes. Up and up and up.

I don't have to see the interview. We saw Mr. Bush many times with our Mr. Blair. They spent oodles of time flogging the dead Iraq horse. Still he is re-arranging the deck chairs on a sinking ship.

I saw the interview. It was like described. When you watch him, you want to like him. I can't divorce my strong feelings on everything that we all find awful in the U.S. from the man who represents all the power we have. No hall pass from me.

You will feel much better when you can associate everything "going down" in our country with its new President Obama.

You can't blame everything on Bush. The war should not have been started. But now we have to finish it somehow that the U.S. does not slide further into second class status. The Olympics are just feel good shows. The only thing that will come out of these Olympics is a mixed view of China, the new Super-Power in the world. I can't wait to have reverend Obama lead the economic war with China.
