GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL!
Present CEOs, Board members AND other executives on EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES and those for the past 5 years of:
Lehman Brothers
AIG
CountryWide
Merrill Lynch
Bear Stearns
Freddie Mac
Fannie Mae
Washington Mutual
And more...
Should deserve what they get.
For now, that is MASSIVE MULTI-MILLION $$$$ SEVERANCE PACKAGES.
Rather, THESE BRILLIANT, UNSCRUPULOUS, WITHOUT CONSCIENCE CARPETBAGGERS belong in prison!
Small problem. If they get jailed, OBAMA WILL LOSE HIS TOP FINANCIAL ADVISORS! McCain will lose friends and advisors. Shame on you, Senator. You called for reform a couple years ago. Regrettably, you did so with a very meek voice and little conviction. When the building you are in is ON FIRE, YOU HAVE TO SCREAM!
What are we to do?
Other than TAKE OUR SHARE OF A HIT OF AT LEAST $700 BILLION.
1. Barns refuses any part in that! Barns wants those bastards to return EVERY SINGLE DIME THEY WERE PAID BY THOSE COMPANIES FIRST! Every single dime.
2. Barns wants every single LIAR LOAN recipient to repay every delinquent dime they owe. NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR WHINING! They are liars and cheats. Barns is not interested in picking up any part of their bill (living expenses). GET A SECOND JOB YOU SLACKERS.
3. While we are "at it," SEND EVERY MORTGAGE BANKER AND SALES PERSON WHO EVER MADE A "LIAR LOAN" TO FEDERAL PRISON. They are thieves who stole from YOU AND Barns!!
You on board with any of this before I continue with it??
Sound Off!
GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL!

The part that sucks is that I'm having a really hard time finding a Sub-Prime loan right now!

on 09/24 at 01:20PM PTNot for long!!!
For now, a lot of focus [heat] is placed on that vertical. As a practical matter, sub-prime is hugely profitable! It is being promoted and will be so increasingly over the months!
....Even if your comment was meant in jest....

Yes I so agree but this has been happening to the Social security Trust fund and medicare fund. While considered "entitlements". Well they should be since every worker in this country has PAID into the system. It has been politicians who have used the pay as you go system to raid it all these years to raid any excess after all current bills has been paid. Well they all should have to pay.

on 09/24 at 05:47AM PTThe reality is likely that the fine CountryWide sales person who made the loan disclosed NOTHING to her other than how lucky she was that CountryWide was making that loan possible for her. Yes. The loan officer was corrupt. That leaves a personal issue and shared guilt: somebody signed the loan docs., including the financial statement that went with it. Hoping for the best. Likely she did not understand the clever loan they sold her and signed a very creative loan application as well.
