Reading the world press, so many intellectuals, pundits and morons alike are voicing their amazement that the CENTER RIGHT POPULATION of the U.S.A. are likely to vote in a SOCIALIST government.
It is the international view AND GREAT FEAR that our new "Prime Minister”, Obama, and the other members of the governing coalition, Pelosi and Reed, will usher in unbridled tax increases unfavorably matched by out of control social/welfare spending, a-la-socialism.
The paradox, of course, is the vociferous concern voiced by Europeans - Northern, Southern and Western, at the remarkable speed with which the American people’s concern (read that as near panic) about the prevailing economic climate has translated to the voting in of a Socialist government. That would be the same Europeans who HAVE VOTED in their own socialist governments for years now.
Something about the previously wide-open-to-the-rest-of-the-world U.S. wallet that has them all wagging their mouths and pens. It is likely, in many analysts' view, that U.S. philanthropy abroad will be a casulaty of the billions/trillions in social welfare planned by the Obama government.
Fear not, you all.

No matter the campaign speeches and promises, the winner notwithstanding, political reality is that they all regress to a sufferable mean. Just sufferable; but ‘that’ nonetheless.
So.... Be prepared to suffer Obama. He may surprise everybody who votes for him and against him.

I wonder if the O-man’s (aka the Omen) idea of compensation for denied civil rights is just for blacks or includes women and minorities. If all-inclusive, maybe I can suck up some of those public bucks. And that idea of government run healthcare. That’s not part of a socialist agenda and won’t favor the giant pharmaceutical lobbyist. I will finally be able to get medical coverage for acupuncture and herbal remedies.

How about the references to”THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO” (yes I noticed the capitalization) and The Bible. Wasn’t a beginning principle of this country separation of Church and State; also know as Freedom of Religion? I’m sure those posters weren’t making unchristian like judgments on other’s actions & beliefs! And the Catholic Church is just waiting to share their billions with the Buddhist Temples. Oh wait….nonprofit! No taxes and don’t have to share!

That you are not a patriot? That you are not seeing the absolute and total transformation of government and the USA before your very eyes? Are you a non-believer in the era of Obama? Are you blind to the inevitable? Are you not willing to pay more taxes so that people who make less money than you do can also live a middle class life?"
Yup. That is really what he asked.
This has nothing to do with who Barns may or may not vote for. This is a very circuitous response to your question.

Personally have had it with anyone who talks left, right and demanding everyone be classified in either. Funny now when it comes to helping those less fortunate (now including the injured from Iraq) its called socialism to help those. OF COURSE IT IS. THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO. Let Barns share something with you. HE IS NOT AMONG THE 47% OF AMERICANS WHO FILE PERSONAL INCOME TAX RETURNS AND PAYS NO TAXES. Thus, he is not going receive a tax reduction. Rather, he anticipates a 23% tax increase.
Somebody else will get benefits therefrom.

I thought Keynes , the gentleman who relished on big gov`t deficits , had been long forgotten. But now instead of capitalism , Keynesianism is hogging the limelight .
