on 11/05 at 05:53AM PTTime will tell IF and HOW MUCH the Obama govt. will regress to a more moderate mean. Beyond a very short term, this country will not tolerate a leftist/Socialist government. Given Pelosi, Reed and the new Congress, that "short term" will be defined in election cycles.
As to Obama, we all MUST pray for his well being!
Let me remind you of an old story, Grizz. You know about the entire village codling the "village idiot". The entire population of the village speaks of the idiot. Yet they embrace him because he is "their" idiot.
Obama is no idiot nor anybody's fool. On the contrary, he is very bright, equally manipulative and coated in enough teflon to be very effective.
Let us all hope that he succeeds with a minimum amount of erosion to the social/economic/political structure of this country.
Of course, the economic structure of this country, SPECIFICALLY SOME OF ITS INSTITUTIONS, can use a ton of rust removers and WD40.
