After hearing Mr Obama rip into the Bosses of Wall St last night, and reading the conditions of the various "Bail Out" packages, I see a glimmer of hope on the horizon. I have to admit a SLIGHT change in thinking towards your new President. There is Hope, Maybe it will last......

“How many more holocausts will the people on earth universally witness before educated nations believe that mankind is capable of atrocities of this magnitude? How many more innocent children will die before mankind will understand that PEACE is possible . . .and, possible before the end of this decade.” “Germany and Poland, maintain the memorials we have on earth so that future memorials will be unnecessary as PEACE will reign throughout our planet.”

Newsweek said it succinctly - with the global economic crisis, Obama's smile won't last long. He and his chosen staff have a long challenging road ahead - let's hope God smiles down on them and us!

Somebody better smile on us. Their policies are starting to sound really hollow. There is a big difference between making campaign policies and governing. He needs to remember that the bucket does not just stop on his desk. He needs to do the the right things with that bucket or we all drown.

Should we wait a week or two before we send Hallmark cards to the new administration? Anybody can give away a trillion dollars to the bastards standing in line to get free money. The question is can the Obama team give away all that money to the right people and can they get some value for that money for the lenders. That is you and me.

I think that the first priority is that every CEO has a newly decorated office. Let's throw in a few junkets as well. Maybe, if some money is left we can buy some tents for the people losing their houses.

The head of Obama`s economic advisory panel is Mr. Paul Volcker . Back in the 80`s he managed to engineer an economic bounce back from a recession he himself engendered. I would say he`s the front man upon whom engineering another bounce back depends . Let`s hope Paul whispers good advice to Obama's ear . Otherwise ,financial doomsday.

I am reminded of the euphoria one feels at Sunday weddings and the emotions one feels at Sunday funerals. After that, Monday morning brings everything that was left there Friday night. Priorities reign supreme. I wonder if Mr. Obama will have a Monday morning tomorrow when he is handed the keys to the kingdom along with the weight of decisions he has to make. One thing to talk about doing. Another to do.

Fine day to you all. What a wonderful day for all of us who pray for good things to happen there and around the world. I hope that the celebration will continue on both sides of the Atlantic and bring about the positive changes that must be made. As you wrote, God's speed to Mr. Obama.

At the very least we observed the country's biggest pep rally in years! Which is important right now. There seems to be a shift to glass half full thinking (it was glass completely full of *expletive deleted* under Bush)

This posting is mine. I couldn't remember my password from another computer when I posted it. This may be bad taste, but I loved hearing the crowd booing Bush today. Bush and Cheney should be in jail for what they did.

Are you having a bad day my friend? Please give me a list of all the offenses for which Bush and Cheney should be prosecuted. You want to also give me the laws under which they would be prosecuted for those offenses.
