Do they need a study to KNOW that the SUN RISES IN THE EAST?
Do they need a study to KNOW that things naturally FALL DOWN, NOT UP?
Do they need a study to know that people who inhale also exhale?
Barns remembers a governmental study to determine the efficacy (yup, efficacy) of manufacturing hair brushes in federal penitentiaries using natural horse hair. At the time, Barns thought that just a bad joke that cost nearly $1 MILLION.
But this study?
Do not fire the people doing the research. Take the people who thought this up and those who commissioned out in public and tar and feather them.
Be sure you wear a BODY CONDOM while doing that.
They must be kidding us, no?
Just watch! They are going to fund a study to figure out what came first: the chicken or the egg!

This is baffling! But, I'll take a stab at it. Could we be focused on keeping the tourism in Thailand going strong. I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that "we" are trying to prevent an unnecessary outbreak of the HIV virus here in the US. After all we are still dealing with the swine flu pandemic. HIV outbreak could be disastrous. I just don't know what to think!!

I don't think our govt will do research on the chicken and the egg. We all know what came first, don't we? For the last 8 years, neither came first. For the present 8 years, there shall be a coin toss to determine that. After the coin toss, all debates will be considered un-American. There you all go again.
