A TRAGIC END TO A TROUBLED LIFE...
The [for a couple decades] undisputed KING OF POP passed away today.
He passed away as his career sputtered to minimal and brief life in the past few months.
As his personal life continued its downward spiral, fueled by the manifestations of Jackson’s surreal existence.
His life and untimely albeit not surprising passing, presented millions of fans of his music with the dichotomy worthy of Hobson. The imbalance of his immense talent with his immensely flawed personality. Perhaps criminally flawed.
This writer is seldom if ever given to consider forgiveness much less appreciate Jobe in most ways, may not have the ability to reconcile much less bifurcate Jackson and his music. Much, anyway.
Alas....
The King Is Dead. Long Live His Music. Not his legacy.
What Say You?
A TRAGIC END TO A TROUBLED LIFE...

a great singer, song writer, showman...ok but born a black male who changed his apperance to look like a white female wannabe who seems to like young boys, why do his fans love the whole package?

I KNOW this is not the same but why do millions of people forgive all sorts of bad deeds? We are a nation who love underdogs. Millions of people still believe that Simpson is innocent because they really don't want to believe that he is not.

I was blown away by the wall to wall TV coverage by news stations. The guy was a big music talent maybe one of the great pop talents. Somebody please tell me all about the humanitarian side of Jackson. Somebody tell me about the great parenting this guy has done. Stop crying you all. He was the luckiest bloke before the U.S. justice system.

He was a great parent (ha)....... For the first time, Barns SAW [on TV] his 12 year old out in public WITHOUT A CHARACTER ALTERING MASK of any kind. No embarrassing "masked-ball" or "surgical" mask covering his face.
Hey: who said Jackson was not an enlightened parent?
HE WAS NOT THE LUCKIEST TO EVER FACE U.S. JUSTICE. THAT DUBIOUS DISTINCTION BELONGS TO ORENTHAL JAMES SIMPSON.

It farewell to Michael! He was certainly the cleberted King of Pop. He motivated the youth from his early age and died sustaining the momentum. Adieu!

I'm sitting in my office listening to a tribute to Michael Jackson. One of the local stations is playing his music for the next several hours. The prominent thought that is going thru my mind is - no one, but Michael knows what demons he lived with. He was truly a great talent and obviously a very unhappy person within.
