Don't really care how you see it. Barns expects that Mary Joe Kopechne's family is not shedding any tears for the passing of the much "beloved" and "revered" Teddy.

Nor is Barns.

Barns is upset that Teddy did not live at least another 100 years. Even then, he could not have done enough good works to atone for the cowardly murder of Mary Joe. Not in 20 lifetimes.

So there.

And so much for another arm-chair hyper liberal, talking trash about the U.S. from his 21 acre beach retreat in Hyannisport.

Reminds Barns of the time he was living in Rome and watching a MASSIVE communist party demonstration. Man-oh-man: the anger of those people.

And when the demonstration was over, they all got into their own cars and did not drive to their owned homes or jobs (they all had good jobs at FIAT). Just out to dinner: THERE WAS NOT ONE SEAT LEFT AT ANY RESTAURANT IN ROME FOR THE NEXT 8 HOURS.

Lovely way to be a discontented political activist.

      Are you joking? The man was drunk, drove off a bridge into the water and left Mary Joe there to die! He could have and should have saved her. No. He was a Kennedy and his rep. was too important for him to do that. That in any book is murder.

            Leaving the scene of an accident is the only thing that could be proven. Fact. You're assumption, is...er... an assumption. You may be right, you may be wrong. Leaving the scene - wrong.               Harvard you're absolutely true!! These fools only seem to remember the "bad" things or mistakes Kennedy has done but purposely fail to acknowledge the good. Again if it werent for many of the things he had done, our image would be in the ground..

    As a young man I was very naive, not so cynical and foolishly proud to be American. But I recall learning two important things that July 69. Americans are able to travel to other planets. Neil showed me that. Also, Americans who inherit lots of money and have powerful and famous relatives can commit negligent homicide, cover it up and go unpunished proving American justice is well sighted. Teddy taught me that.

    Well, for someone that was not liked much nor will be missed much - he certainly got plenty of media coverage. Look at the positive side, he comes from a very large family of handsome, political activists who have had their share of tragedy and loss. He may not be missed, but sure has hell did a great job of keeping the Kennedy name alive.
